I just HAD to use that opportunity.
(I bought all 4 books)

I just didn't have the time to read them all yet...

And in the tradition of the blog...
I think I found a few typos in the first two books:
(page number, quote, and correction)

Pilot:
p13: "Most of the hangars were empty" (hanger)
p81: "Several if her business associates, the craftsmen and the people she" (of)
p117: "Grandfather had increased the amount of capitol available for the venture as a cushion" (capital)
p131: "We’re holding them form Gillian Mahoney" (for)
p179: "pilot they knew off where" (of?)

storm chaser:
p28: "“There wolf. Yeah" (Werewolf?)
p97: “You can take the pilot off the ship,” (can't?)
p164: "were much more pirate likethan any" (piratelike than)
p226: "His tone was pure differential" (deferential)
p226: "could be of much greater benefit then a quick profit" (than?)
p231: "closer look at the older channel" (odder? other?)
p231: "This last was stated more differentially than her comments" (deferentially)

Thanks for the comments. It always tickles me when people point out the "There wolf," line. It's actually a reference to the movie Young Frankenstien. fun flick if you haven't seen it.

I just finished the other two. They are at least as good as the other two. The only downside are a few too convenient coincidences.
The development of the dream went quite well. I keep wondering about the first new one-way channel and those on the planet though.

One thing (admittedly relatively old) felt a bit inconsistent - its the broad range of things connected to being a pilot. I mean even the movement inside the channel? It makes me really wonder how the military ships move around.
And the best question - how did the first ships start the tradition - considering how difficult (relatively speaking) it is to construct completely airtight containers...
Of course with more restricted powers the beginning becomes even more implausible.

Anyway, I guess now I'll have to wait till December for the follow-up...

Here are the remaining things that might be a typo:

alliance:
p5: "way with a differential air" (deferential)
p15: "the docks were slippery with wet" (water? : and wet?)
p26: "These were they types of things" (the)
p139: "Calabrese, May I get you" (may?)
p207: "made Elena fell small" (feel)
p214: "and it might by larger concessions" (buy)

haven:
p75: "checking out the sight" (site?)

Hello Valerie,

can you tell us when Skyside will be released? I hope it will be soon because I really like your Channel Rider series and can't wait to read the new book!

Thanks for your great work!

Thanks. At the moment it looks like late January. There were some issues with my first draft. Happy Holidays. valerie
